For Agencies
How do I white label SyncSignature for my clients?
White label lets you put your own brand in front of the people you manage signatures for, so a client logging in sees your agency rather than SyncSignature. You set it once at account level, and it applies across the client workspaces you run.
It is a plan feature rather than a setting every account has. If Whitelabel is not in your menu, your current plan does not include it, and not every agency plan does. Contact us to check what yours covers.
Before you start
| Requirement | Where it lives | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| A plan that includes white label | Your account | The Whitelabel page is hidden entirely when the plan does not include it |
| Owner role | Your account | Set up by the account Owner |
| Your logo and favicon | Wherever you keep brand assets | Both are uploads, so have the files ready |
| A monitored support address | Your agency | Client replies to system emails land here |
What you can change
Open Whitelabel from your profile menu. Five fields:
- Brand Name. The name shown in place of SyncSignature.
- Logo. Uploaded, and used in the interface your clients see.
- Theme. Sets the color treatment so the app matches your brand.
- Support Email. Covered in detail below. This is the one worth getting right.
- Favicon. Uploaded, and shown in the browser tab.
Click Save to apply. Changes affect what your clients see, not just your own view.
How Support Email works
This is the field people misunderstand, and it is the one that decides whether white label actually holds up.
Transactional emails, such as password resets and teammate invites, are not sent from a SyncSignature address. They go out from a neutral domain, sendsig.com, which carries no connection to the SyncSignature brand. So your client does not see our name in their inbox even before you set anything.
Support Email adds your address as the reply-to on those emails. When a client replies to an invite or a reset, the reply reaches you rather than disappearing. Leave it blank and your clients have nowhere to reply to, which is the most common white label complaint and the easiest to avoid.
Use an address someone actually monitors, ideally a shared support inbox rather than one person.
What white label does not cover
Be clear with clients about the boundary, because the gap tends to surface at the worst moment.
- There is no custom domain or custom login URL. A branded subdomain and CNAME setup are not available, so clients still sign in through the standard app URL.
- It does not rebrand the signatures themselves. Signature content comes from your templates. White label changes the application your clients log into, not the email signatures it produces.
- It is account level, not per client. One brand applies across every workspace you run, so you cannot show a different brand to each client.
Common issues and fixes
| Issue | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Whitelabel is missing from the menu | Your plan does not include it | Contact us about a plan that does |
| Clients reply to a system email and you never see it | No Support Email set, so there is no reply-to | Set one and save |
| The logo looks wrong in the interface | The uploaded file is the wrong shape or too small | Re-upload a cleaner asset and save again |
| A client asks for their own branded login domain | Custom domains are not available | Set expectations early. One brand covers all your workspaces |
| Signatures still look unbranded | White label does not touch signature content | Edit the client's template instead |
