Mobile Email Signature

An email signature that renders correctly when sent from or viewed on mobile email clients, including iOS Mail, Outlook mobile, and Gmail mobile.

What is Mobile Email Signature?

A mobile email signature is one that renders correctly when sent from a mobile email client (iOS Mail, Outlook mobile, Gmail mobile, Samsung Mail) or viewed on a mobile device. Two distinct problems exist. Send-side: ensuring the employee's mobile sends carry the same signature as their desktop sends, typically solved by server-side stamping (Exchange Online Transport Rule or Google Workspace routing rule) rather than relying on the user to configure the signature in each mobile client. View-side: ensuring the signature renders correctly when the recipient opens the email on mobile, which requires responsive design (single-column fallback for narrow screens, larger touch targets for tappable elements, image sizes that load fast on cellular). The 'Sent from my iPhone' default mobile signature exists because mobile clients historically had limited rich-text support and users gave up on consistent signatures. Modern signature platforms eliminate this with server-side deployment.

How does SyncSignature implement Mobile Email Signature?

SyncSignature deploys mobile signatures via the Outlook add-in for Microsoft 365 (which applies the same signature whether the user composes from Outlook desktop, web, or mobile) and via the Gmail API for Google Workspace (writing to each user's sendAs settings, which applies in Gmail mobile). Templates are designed for responsive rendering on iOS Mail, Outlook mobile, and Gmail mobile.
